FUJIFILM Healthcare Middle East & Africa reports that its SUPRIA CT 32-slice scanner was inaugurated at Yardimeli Specialist Hospital in Mogadishu on 23 September 2026. Fujifilm describes it as the first CT scanner of its kind installed in Somalia.
The company says the AI-enabled system is intended to widen access to advanced diagnostic imaging in Mogadishu and beyond. The State Minister of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia attended the ceremony, and the installation was carried out with Fujifilm’s local partner, Tayo Biomed Solutions.
